I had the BEST experience ever yesterday. One of the post office workers - didn't get her name - amazed me with her positive attitude. Not only did I mail my package but walked out smiling and in a great mood. Very inspiring for someone to be SO nice to everyone all day. I can't explain what an impact she made on me. Such a nice person. And if she reads this - YOU ARE A SWEETHEART!!!

Just had a great experience here. I was able to do all I needed without even stepping foot in a line. There are some machines in the front, soon as you walk in, that calculated my shipping and printed me a label. The machine predicted the exact location by having the street number and first letter of street name. There was a lady in this front area that was very helpful, she directed me to the machines and offered guidance. Was in and out. Thank you nice lady.

was greeted by a postal worker as soon as I walked in and asked how she could help.  I only needed to buy some stamps.  So she gladly assisted me by offering to sell me some stamps.  This avoided me having to wait in line just to buy 2 books of stamps.

Time and time again , whenever i have a package being delivered by the post office, they just plain dont even try to deliver it. i will be home ALL DAY specifically waiting on a package and they never even bother to knock or anything. They dont even leave it in the leasing office of my apartment like UPS does. They dont even bother taking the package out of their truck and just put a "sorry we missed you" slip on the door or in the mailbox.  EVERY TIME. And when you go into the post office, which by the way is a huge inconvenience to me as i dont even get out of work until 6:30pm, the ladies in there are always more preoccupied with gossiping with each other than actually working. about half the time theyll disappear in back to "look for the package" and youll be standing there waiting and waiting and waiting. on occasion they have not been able to find a package all together. its ridiculous. i dont know how any of these people keep their job let alone get get hired there to begin with. Give the jobs to people who actually give a damn.

Huge improvement in customer service? That was when it was slow. When it was busy with folks returning their packages after the new year they had only two "affirmative action" employees in the whole place. Mine had a frown and scowl even after I smiled and did my best to radiate cheer. I know these unskilled workers have above average pay and benefits so it is sad to me that they go out of their way to be slow and nasty.
