The VéloCity Bicycle Co-op is a non-profit, volunteer-run, & community-based organization.

Story

Our mission is to grow and empower a more inclusive bicycling community through affordability and education.

We provide an educational do-it-yourself workshop and offer community outreach programs, training, rides, and events to enable all levels of cyclists in building, maintaining, and embracing the fun of bicycles.

Received excellent service in the store on March 3, 2018.  Placed a call to the store on March 10, 2018 to follow up re a safety related question and was yelled at by an inpatient, distressed-sounding worker.  (Much room for improvement on the part or that person.)  Complained re March 10 interaction and once again received excellent service in the store on March 12, 2018. 
As a global citizen who is concerned about the pollution problem in China, I am happy that this Bike Shop carries bike parts from other, hopefully less polluted and polluting parts of the world.  I purchased parts from Taiwan and France.  Prayers for the pollution problem in our planet and I sincerely hope riding my bike more helps alleviate.

Had my bike shipped up from Arizona to the shop for reassembly and tune-up. Christian did a great job, taught me a few things, and charged me a very reasonable price. This will be my go-to shop from now on; good conversation, great place to learn, and get your hands dirty. Thanks.

These guys are great. Excellent atmosphere and encouraging and knowledgeable staff. If you're hoping to learn about bike mechanics and find affordable parts, this is the choice.

The guys are really helpful and they have a good selection of used bikes and clothes. Love coming here!

I simply cannot say enough good things about the guys at Velocity. My daughter's bikes were really messed up from our move, and i thought we'd need to but new ones. The guys there walked us through how to fix the bikes, gave us all the parts we needed, and made sure the bikes were sized and working properly. Truly great people doing an awesome service.
