I bought a new bike through this shop and have remained impressed by their friendly service. Only a small business could maintain this level of flexibility and honest appreciation of your business. Plus they give you unhurried, thorough explanations of any work to be done. This is a place I'll keep coming back to.

I definitely recommend this place. I've been there just today for adjusting brakes and wheels. Many thanks to Alan for saving my bike, it was done fast, like friendly atmosphere there and moreover the Reasonable price. I stopped by nearby Velocity before and they gonna charge me more than double price I paid at Wheel Nuts.

I was in the middle of doing bike ride from Arlington to Mt. Vernon when I began experiencing problems with my seat. The seat post was sliding down.  The bolt holding the seatpost collar was stripped. I stopped by the shop and it was recommended that I replace the seatpost collar. I was told it would be a bit expensive but not too much; $12. I said no problem. I was asked if I had a hex key set, I replied yes.  Then the tech/salesman found the correct size collar, installed it and then said it would be $16.  Beware-Ask about additional costs before purchasing or installation because you wont be told until afterwards. If I was told about the $16 in the beginning and before the installation, It would not have been a problem for me. Very deceptive practice.

Shopping for a replacement bike saddle was quick and easy. However I didn't realise that the question "would you like me to stick it on for you?" would result in a $10 labor charge for a job that I would have happily done myself in a few minutes. My gentle complaint got a rude fob off. Beware of unexpected charges!
