I've been coming here for a couple of years now. The shop guys are pretty knowledgeable and friendly. They know their bikes and carry some pretty nice stuff and can order you some more, but they aren't the least bit snobby about it. They can sell you a relatively inexpensive cruiser as well as a high end road bike. They carry primarily Trek and Specialized, although I've seen some Surly bikes as well.

I get the economics of the bike shop. I am very grateful for the people with the gumption to stand a bike shop up. Shoot - tune ups, service plans, flat fixes and bike tubes helped to cover my bills for a long time. But I also felt comfortable in charging what we did for a tube. I never felt like we were taking advantage for a tube nor the service we provided. I was proud to have a customer come in with a bike and fix their flat on the spot knowing it was a quick fix. But when a customer comes in for a tube and it costs more than $10, that seems a little stout to me. I know the local shop is a great resource, but I am also aware when $10+ is a high mark up preventing me from going back.

Cycling from NYC to Miami, my partner and I faced a technical issue with his spokes (ironically) on a Sunday morning. We were glad to see that Spokes was open on this day! The location is also very ideal, located probably 10min or less from the Mount Vernon trail. The staff were also really nice and gave us a lot of advice and places to go for the rest of our long trip! Thumb ups!

Great service and fast work.  Went in and they worked on my bike immediately and quickly.  All the staff seemed to enjoy their work and had patience and respect when working with customers.  Will definitely return there if I ever need future work done.

This team took such amazing care of us!  I was in the market for a new bike and they took the time to make sure I tried a bunch of different kinds and that I was fit perfectly before I left!  Rose was amazing and the rest of the team!! I highly recommend this store as a 10 out of 10!
