Love me some Rev. Mabone.He has been selling furniture here for years at Winchester location. I choose not to go to no one else but him. He don't push anything on you that you don't need. He just let you shop. I love that. IHe is very considerate on telling you the deals as well. I have purchased a house full of furniture from this guy and I always highly recommend him to others.

Worst experience ever with value city. Ordered my daughters room furniture in January, after 5 attempts still didn’t get the right furniture we ordered and there is no email or call from the store to explain the situation until we chase them down. They should learn to respect customers money and time as they always come late during the deliveries. Will never suggest value city to anyone.

I love the furniture here, it's very contemporary and chic however, it's a shame your policy is not extended to allow customers to purchase from the sales floor when a particular piece is sold out. Disappointing to say the least, that you would hold on to something a customer would like to pay good money for. 
For future reference and continuous customer service and practice you may want to revise this policy. Which in turn,  may lead you to be on par with other leading furniture retailers in the city.  I just don't see the point of displaying something in your showroom which is not available to order for 4 weeks and not having the option to purchase from the sales floor.

As the saying goes.....your loss not mine!

I experienced not so great customer service with a certain salesman but the store manager quickly and apologetically rectified the originally sour encounters.  I really appreciated his professionalism. The store's manager truly retained me as a customer.  Hopefully he can manage that rude salesman and develop his 'people skills' into a warmer disposition.
