The jeweler that was working on my girlfriends ring forgot about it for 4 months, with us calling and coming in multiple times!!!!! I spent a decent amount of money on a ring for my girlfriend for her birthday LAST YEAR, and we had come in to have it resized and copper plated (which cost more then the ring itself), and after that it still left her finger green, and they didn't care at all and didn't offer any sort of refund. Then we brought it back hoping to make a new ring out of the gem that was in the old one, and after that it seems to have just slipped everyone's minds who worked there! We came in multiple times and the last time (3 months after we dropped it off) they re-measured her finger and some how managed to find the parts of the ring that were just laying around the place. We called multiple times and then finally just came in again when the owner was there and he didn't understand how it didn't get done either. He said he'd work on it personally, and it would be done that evening and we would get a "significant" discount... Next morning he calls saying its done, and when I come in he is not there. I refused to give them a penny until I talked to him and they took my gem and wont give it back. After putting so much money into the ring previously at their establishment, they refused to give me (now a returning customer because of there pour gold plating job) an actual discount that was fair for how long I waited. I am now getting ready to buy another (nicer) piece of jewelry for my girlfriend's birthday (because it has been a whole year since this project started) and I know if there is any work that needs to be done on it I will not be giving the Village Gem my time of day. Disrespectful of my time (of all the times I came in and wasted my gas as well as the physical time of 4 months it took them just on the new ring) and my money, and I would NEVER recommend anyone giving them the time of day. Also half the stuff in the store isn't even jewelry, so I should have known better clearly.

The entire staff is very kind and friendly.  Tommy the owner really cares about his customers and he makes his sales because he does such terrific service and is a top-quality repair man.  Tommy has created rings and other products for my wife and when I make the mistake of buying jewelry in the islands is there to fix it and make it stronger than when I first purchased it

Amazing! I couldn't be more pleased with the way Village Gem treated me and took care of my situation. VERY friendly! VERY nice work on resizing a ring. And the quick turnaround just blew me away!
