Wonderful staff and Amazing doctors! Dr. Milani is the BEST. He is friendly, knowledgeable and so humble. He truly cares for his patients and always finds a way to give back to the community by providing free healthcare to the less fortunate and promoting public fundraising for good causes! He is a real role model.

If you’re looking for a USCIS certified civil surgeon, please do not go there. They are ready to give you all the shots without doing any blood test. The Reason Dr. Farideh Abbasi gave was: « it’s gonna be too expensive for you to pay for the blood test and the vaccines » I insisted to know how much that will be because I didn’t want to get vaccines I don’t need; they never came back with a price. No body in the clinic knows how much a blood test cost🤔. On 01/23/18 I agreed to have my blood test before any vaccines and even though I told the doctor and PA that I had a flu vaccin a month ago, they give me another one anyway. ( more bills for them) Went back on 01/25/18 Dr. Farideh came with the same discussion we had on my first visit, she’s asking me if I had a chickenpox vaccin. If not she need to give me one. I couldn’t have it straight because I know they took my blood to check what are the vaccines I don’t have. How can she ask me that question? I asked for the results of my blood test, she told me that she will receive it in a week and if I don’t want the vaccine she have to do another blood test ;( and wait another week?). I didn’t feel safe in that clinic and left taking my form with me. No honesty, I payed for Dr. Kavian Milani service for my form but never been asked to get my money back. I didn't meet Dr. Milani himself even though he's the one who’s supposed to handle my case. Long story short, DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE.

Nurse practitioner, Farideh Abassi, saw me nearly 3 weeks ago at the Fairfax office. She listened carefully and did an examination and sent me to the hospital immediately. As a result of her great care, I received a serious diagnosis after 4 days in hospital. I did not know I was that sick! Now I'm working with her and a specialist (out of their practice). She really listens and cares. Without her I would have gotten much more sick and possibly died. I've thanked her personally, but I wanted to make it public that she is professional and comprehensive in her knowledge of medicines, physiology and has a whole health approach.

5 stars for the doctors and providers and 1 star for the staff that supports them. My husband, two kids and I have all been patients at Virginia Family Medicine. Two of us are Dr. Milani's patients, one sees Dr. Sherling and the other sees Dr. Milani. All four providers are EXCELLENT, but we are still leaving, which is unfortunately. The wait times have become untenable. It has become the norm that we wait 45 minutes before we're called back and another 30 minutes in the room before we are seen. For the past year, it is typical to be in the office for no less than 2 hours start to finish. But, that's not even the reason. We are leaving because of the support staff. Our billing is never correct. We can make a payment at the time of service and we still receive bills afterwards. I've called about no less than 4 bills received this way, talked to a staff and billing person who promises to look into it and call back. For some reason they can't handle it immediately by looking at the screen and they NEVER return the call. I end up having to go into the office to resolve the issue even though I don't have an appointment. Second, they've started charging for a refill request. Last, I leave messages for refills and they're not processed so again I have to go to the office to pick up prescriptions when really the pharmacy should be able to handle it or they should be able to call it in from the office. They force an appointment, which we have to pay for, simply for a refill. With four family members, all of who have prescriptions, the office management has become too cumbersome. We literally CHASE a response for refills and billing issues. I've concluded that their approach is intentional because it requires/forces patients to make appointments that can be billed to insurance. We all love our doctors and will truly miss them because all of them are truly OUTSTANDING. We're in our 50s and have never had better doctors, so we'll miss our providers but when we're interacting with the staff more than the doctors and they're unresponsive or make NUMEROUS errors it's just too much to deal with -- constant billing errors and prescription refills issues have become too much of a time and financial drain. Keep your receipts for billing errors. You'll need them.

The staff are surprisingly rude, when doing just basic stuff like managing your appointment. I saw Dr. Yi, who was chilly and unpleasant.
