A lot of really good people and excellent prices on a vast selection of items. Everyone I asked to point me in the direction of what I was looking for was very helpful and had a positive attitude. I really enjoy stopping here to find items I'm looking for because the prices are so good and the selection is so large. Worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood.

This review will be lengthy, but I've been patient enough with this Walmart and it's now time to be honest about my experiences there. Tonight my family and I went to check out and chose lane #8. Like the other open checkouts, it was quite long and I'd have loved to use self checkout, but we almost never can at Walmart because of their ridiculous self-checkout policies. (No gift or phone card purchases, no bottle slips, no WIC items. And no, the self-checkout cashiers won't do those things separately at their register. I've asked. And no again, the electronics cashier won't redeem bottle slips when I'm buying our phone cards. I've asked that too.) Anyway, while we were waiting our turn to check out, the cashier curtly told a customer behind us that she was closed. I know for a fact that she hadn't been closed when I stepped in line, because I double checked that her light was on. And it was. I used to work as a cashier and know what it's like when trying to close, so I always double check that the lane is open when stepping into a checkout line. Always. At one point after that announcement, I even did this cashier's job of politely telling another customer who came up behind us that she was closed. My thanks for doing so? As soon as I started unloading our items, the cashier suddenly informed me that she was not going to wait on us. "My light was off when you got in this line," she said. OK. Now, number one, that's simply not true. And number two, the cashier had looked right at me several times during the 10-15 minutes I'd been waiting in her line. Why in the world did she wait until I began unloading to kick me out of her lane? Incredibly, that's not even the end of the story. Less than one minute after I had dragged our cart (and our 3 hungry children) over to another long line, a relief cashier came to wait for the one in #8 to finish, so she turned her light back on...and didn't even have the decency to invite me back to where I had been! Instead, she said nothing as two other customers with filled carts marched into the open lane first, so I had to wait in a long line ALL OVER AGAIN! This after having been unfairly kicked out of that same line when it was supposed to have been my turn next! Meijer, here we come! Your prices may be higher, but I'm finally starting to realize that it'll be well worth it to actually leave a store happy for a change.

Just your average Walmart. Most of the staff is clueless. *Story time* 😃 I was looking for something I had bought at this store previously. I was greeted by an employee, who asked if I was finding everything okay. The item I was looking for wasn't really a necessity, but regardless, I accidentally asked her if she knew where it was. She didn't. But that led to her leading me through 3 aisles, with no luck. I tried to escape by saying it wasn't that big of a deal, but the woman refused to back down, which might sound like what an employee is supposed to do, but I knew that it was pointless by then. We get to the last aisle, and she asks two other employees if they knew where it was. They didn't. So I left. A couple of nights later, I went back to look for it because I had a feeling as though they did have the product I wanted. I went down the aisle, where she had asked the other employees about it, and sure enough --- what I wanted was on the bottom shelf, next to where those employees she asked were standing. 🤗 So I get to the self-checkout with my product and a bottle of Pepsi. The total came to $3.36. I went to pay and started to insert $1 bills into the machine. When I got to the third dollar, the machine pulled up an error message, saying that the money holder was full. The woman in charge of the self-checkouts comes over, looks at the screen, and says, "Well, I ain't never seen nothin' like that before! I don't know what that means!" She calls someone to come look at the machine and tells me to stay there. So I do. She walks over and stands by me for a couple of minutes, trying to make small talk - like, if she didn't do that, I would try to leave. I comply and try to keep a conversation with her. Then, she walks over to another customer and goes about her business. Five minutes have passed at this point, and I'm still standing there, with 36 cents remaining on my balance. Another woman comes over and checks out what's going on, and she assures me that the person coming to fix the machine is on her way, looking in the distance and saying, "There she is! She's coming." Five more minutes pass. I'm, somehow, still standing there. I asked the first woman if I could just give her the 36 cents and be on my way. She told me that she would call and see if that was okay. She gets off the phone and says, "She'll be right down here to fix it." I'm infuriated at this point. The woman FINALLY comes to "fix" the machine. She opens it, pulls out the money holder, says, "Yep. That's full!", and SHE PUT THE FULL MONEY HOLDER BACK INTO THE MACHINE. The first woman asks her if I could just give them the remaining balance and leave, and the machine-fixer person asks me if I had the change. I immediately put the 36 cents in her hand. I ask if I can leave, and they make a big deal over me not getting my receipt. My total was $3.36 - I'm not going to return what I bought! Ugh! So finally, I get to leave, and I have never been so upset after leaving a store before in my life. All of that after an 8-hour shift at my job. 🙂

Really Like, Walmart & For One Stop Shopping! Well Stocked & Prices Are Pretty Decent! They Used To Be Better, Than They Are Now! At One Time, Wal-Mart's Prices Beat, Other Places! Now, Not So Much, But Like To Shop There!

I Love Walmart, Cheap Items Etc..😆 But today I took my handicap mother to do her Christmas shopping, and she needed a electric chair to be mobile in, she and other's waited for maybe 25 minutes🤔, its not just my mother I was concerned about, it was others that need it as well, no Walmart employees stopped to ask if they needed any help or if they could get something for them😯😒, so if you guys could be better at assisting the handicap, that would be lovely, because they are spending money in your store as well. But other than that you guys do very well, just can we please help more with the people who can't walk far or need more assistance period? Thank you! And Merry Christmas to all!!😘
