Front desk was very helpful and extremely polite. Cleaning staff was very accommodating and thorough fresh sheets everyday and extra towels. The breakfast was really good and tasty. I think every staff member we met was extremely nice. They are pet friendly, left food & water bowls in the room before we even got there and a free ice cream coupon for our dog. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Carlsbad.

Staying here on vacation.  As it was in our last visit, excellent service all around.  Would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to say near LEGOLAND and Sea World.  Very close to the beach as well.  Thanks for the excellent service!!

Such a great hotel! I'm  so happy we stayed there! Friendly staff, and  good breakfast.  I would recommend it to anyone .

A 5 star experience for a 3 star price. The staff is courteous, everything is extremely clean and rooms are way too nice for their great pricing. The location is away from any major hubs but a close enough drive to most surrounding towns for food and nightlife. Also very close to the beach. They have a free breakfast, pet friendly, free drinks in the evenings, free cookies and milk and cookies at night. All around amazing place. I will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed here about a half dozen times since they opened in 2007. This is our go to place while in Carlsbad. The location is perfect for Legoland, the Premium Outlets and the beach. San Diego is a 35 minute drive South. West Inn and Suites is a boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. King beds in most of the rooms. The offer am extensive breakfast. Wine for those over 21 from 5-6 pm nightly. And cookies and milk starting at 8pm. They have 2 restaurants on site. Both are 5 star. The offer room service from Bistro West. There is a shuttle to local areas with proper notice. We took it to Legoland. Saves on the parking fee there. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this to anyone. A++
