I am not sure why I am receiving this survey but it does give me the opportunity to convey my opinion over a recent situation which occurred at this Carlsbad East location. I noticed a charge on my debit account for $80 when I had never stayed. I had made a reservation but once I knew I would not be able to make it I called them and advised them. A review of my account will indicated that I am a very frequent guest at you Southern California locations. I have praise for all but this location. This is the very first time in about 8 years that a location has actually tried to charge me even though I did not check in and then when asked about the charge by myself personally I was lied to in 3 separate occasions by their Customer Service Representatives. It was not until I contacted the Corporate office which verified the charge was in fact from Carlsbad East and advised me they would contact the property manager to resume over the matter. The corporate office responded to me almost immediately indicating that the property Manager would process my refund and apologized for the error. The fact is there was no error the charge was done intentionally and I was lied to intentionally including the Manager. Not till the Corporate office got involved did they realize they should tell the truth. I will not stay at this location at any time in the future and I suggest you review your management at this location for their professionalism and business ethics. I personally would be replacing such employees.

Our recent stay at Motel 6 Carlsbad East was quite pleasant. Upon check in, our room was not yet ready, but the front desk staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs. The person who cleaned our room (122) was very friendly and asked if it was cleaned to my satisfaction after each cleaning. The room was adequately equipped with the basics such as beds, table, nightstand, bathroom and sink. All was suitable except the bed was quite worn. I did not rest well, but that is not entirely the fault of the Motel. All in all, great place for the price. I would just recommend replacing the mattress.

Affordable room to help maintain your vacation budget. Hotel is located minutes from Legoland. Staff suggested visiting Oceanside pier just 10 minutes away. We booked a double bed room, beds were comfortable and room was clean. Only downside to the room was the lack of a table .... There was one office chair in the built in desk which meant eating on the beds. Small table with 2 chairs would have been great, but still great room for the price and location. Would definitely book here again!

I had two rooms during this stay. First night we found a tick in the king room my daughter stayed in, second night she was moved to a different room but found prior guest underwear and shorts hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When we told the agents at the desk they moved her again to a handicap room but the room was small and only had a full bed when we paid for a king. We return to the front desk the agent told us that they could not keep moving us around and that someone went to the room with the clothing and cleaned it, so she decided to go back to this room. When she returned to the room the articles of clothing were still hanging on the door. She then called the desk to let them know the clothing was still on the back of the door, they thought they put her on hold and she overheard them bad mouthing her. When we checked out on Sunday the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. She agreed to comp the King room for me but she did not comp the whole two night stay for this room. It would be nice to have a FULL refund for this room. Also, when we reported the tick to the front desk we were told that the room would be place out of order and Terminix would be called to spray the room. When we were at the pool that night we saw guests coming in and out of the room. This tells me that the room was not properly treated for ticks. The room that myself and my son stayed in was not exactly clean as well. There was hair in the tub/shower and mold on the walls. The cable TV lagged. I did not complain about this to the front desk as the king room was more of an issue and didn’t feel like anyone would do anything about it anyway.

I enjoyed our stay at your facility. Would like to see some more towels and maybe another chair in the room. There weren't very many electrical outlets to charge and use our devices. I would like to see more of those in the future period The rooms were clean the beds were satisfactory. I would like to see maybe one heavier throw for the bed because sometimes it gets chilly with the air conditioner on but that is a personal preference and is no reflection on the hotel. Remote control for the TV was missing its back panel to hold the batteries in. It took a little aerobatics in order to use the TV. Overall there is nothing that would not stop me from staying there again.
