Hotel rooms very nice. Really pretty outside garden area and pool. Carlsbad cliffs across street. Great place to view sunset. Breakfast at restaurant was really good. We had dinner take out one night and food was not good but got right before close. Easy parking. Good staff.

Hilton honors member. I stayed here my last night in SD. A/C did not work, hot day, ended up sweating all night. Shut off A/C and opened doors to cool off, only to be woken up by lawn mowers at 8am. Left my room to grab clothes from vehicle, returned to room to find room service cleaning. Asked to hold off as I needed to shower and catch a flight. Maid said just a few more minutes and proceeded to begin vacuuming and changing sheets. Waited 10 minutes, ended up leaving, unanswered, left my $100 pocket knife in the room, and not even asked how my stay was at checkout. Called about the knife, said they would check on it, never a response. Will not stay here again.

Poor quality for the $200 per night stay. We arrived for an early check in which they said would be fine, but were asked us to return in 30 min. which we did. After the delay, they were still not ready and checking with housekeeping saying the room would not be ready for another 30 min. Finally got our key after about 1 1/2 hrs. The room was nothing special and the bed was not particularly comfortable. The staff were not very welcoming or friendly and after all of this our key didn't work to access the pool area. The additional $14 parking fee was complimentary due to these inconveniences but I do not recommend this place at all. Very disappointing for a Hilton!

Good food and drink options. Polite staff. Aesthetically speaking, the layout of the lobby and outdoor areas are beautiful. Location of hotel is key.

Nice place. Stayed in the room with 2 bed with 2 families. Each family with 1 kid. Plenty of room for staying and sleeping. The AC is a bit loud, but the window opens enough to let ocean air in. It's walking distance to the ocean and area is clean. Plenty of parking spaces.
