A museum you have to see if you're in South Texas! Several floors with rooms set up for typical occupations or duties of the past, like an old doctors office, a dentist office, barber shop, bedrooms and kitchens of the day along with rooms containing relics of the old West like hats or saddles and Indian tools. A cute little gift and book store is on the lower level sharing the floor with an old West authentic bar - bullet holes still evident. Definitely a place to take the whole family.

In the 90's, was the last time I've been at the Pecos Museum. This year I visited the museum and the place is in a better shape.

Affordable. Well Kept. Not a guided tour but not needed with posted information galore. There truly is something to see for the whole family. A must see, if you're passing through!

Very nice museum. Entire family enjoyed it. Self paced and very authentic. Over 30+ rooms to see and walk into. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great way to learn and have fun. Highly recommend.

A three story museum filled with tons of local history. Had an amazing time with family! My in-laws from Louisiana raved about it.
