For years a friend of mine kept telling me that Westlake Independent was a great outfit. As my car became older, I did need service and gave them a try versus the dealer. I have never seen a shop like this; they give you a printable report with color pictures describing what they find as they service your vehicle. You can choose to do the repairs or not, as you discuss the items with your service advisor. They do the work well, at a good price (AAA discounts), and on time; they will take you home and pick you back up, which became important when we became a one-car family. I showed the full color reports to my brother-in-law, and he said, "I can't even get my mechanic to speak English!" -glen

Outstanding service from Independent Automotive. This was my first visit here after hearing great references from friends.Truly a great place for quality service from people who know these cars, are honest and take the time to explain things to you. While I do most regular maintenance on my cars myself, Independent Automotive will be my go to shop for everything above my skill level on both my Hondas and Acuras.

Westlake Independent employs the most reliable and experienced mechanics I have depended on For 20+ years. They’ve maintained my Hondas & Acuras and i have never had to return for any issue.. Bruce Nation and his professional staff thoroughly inspect the car suggesting what should to be done immediately or what can wait, take pictures and email the reports. How exciting now they now work on Subaru, Lexus and Toyota. A trusted service for all.

Westlake Independent Automotive sure knows customer service. They take such good care of you. I was very impressed. I can see why they have life long customers. I won’t be going anywhere else!

I was impressed immediately with the thorough inspection and then again with the knowledge of everything from the ground up on my vehicle. The price was decent too. I will definitely be recommending Westlake Independent.
