I do work on automotive industry and big fan of MB i am not just saying it, I have visited MB factory and MB museum in Stuttgart  and  here Sales guys are so rude!! Have no knowledge about what they are selling.. on top of that trying to teach you someting which all about my life is cars..Just walked outside  next door is Rusnak BMW they were kind and helpfull  and bought brand new X5 M.. Thank you

I had the worst experience at Silver Star Mercedes-Benz of Thousand Oaks. I had went in to purchase a 2018 MB GLE 63S AMG Coupe. I had already been qualified at Mercedes Benz of Oxnard but wanted to check out Thousand Oaks to see if they could beat MB of Oxnard’s deal. To start off, I was there for 15/20 mins waiting for a salesperson to offer their assistance, I mean I am trying to buy a car here. After waiting, a man by the name of Trevor Slobe offers his assistance. He asks what car we were interested in, I then told him the model and he looked suprised. The car I was looking to buy was $122k. He then tried to convince me the cheaper model which is not what i was looking at and the interior was hideous. I kept telling him exactly what I wanted, black on black and a 2018. I then let him know i also have a trade in. He has another person get that started. Next he started asking what I do for living and how was i (20 year old) planning on qualifying and paying a car that is so expensive. I let him know how much i make and told him i had bank statements, profit and loss, and w-2 to prove my income. I have a 760 credit score and my co-signer has a 790 credit score and lots of income with proof. He began to refuse to run my credit because he said he has never seen a 20 year old be approved to buy such an expensive car and it wasnt going to happen today. And that banks would never even bother financing a car to me not even Mercedes Benz financial. He obviously did not want to make a sell. Well guess what Trevor, I got financed for my car and it was through Mercedes Benz finance! And it’s the one I wanted, Black on Black and 2018 they didnt try to convince me to purchase a cheaper or different model that i had asked for. And my saleperson at Mercedes Benz of Oxnard was amazing and made it all work! Not once did she doubt my income or credit experience. I know this is not the first time a person of color has experience discrimation from someone at Silver Star. There were two other people at Mercedes of Oxnard when I purchased my car who had been discrimnated against. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND THEIR SALESPERSONS THEY ARE RACIST AND DISCRIMINATE AGAINST AGE AND RACE.

Leased a car there in may 2013. Signed a contract for 4 years 48,000 miles. After I turned in the car-- I got a  bill for 8044  overage.miles.  With some deep investigation, I discovered that SiverStar forged a rescision of my 48,000 mile contract  and then forged a 40,000 mile lease. I had to  spend $990 on a handwriting expert who wrote her expert opinion that I did not author the 40,000 mile contract. I am sitll shocked by this and how badly I have been treated when I showed the dealership this evidence. I have been a good customer, (6 cars since 2012)  and this is how they treat me.
