I'm here weekly, and I really enjoy it. It's awesome. Very nice trails, with the traffic it doesn't get too overgrown, yet for us bikers it's plenty bumpy. Pretty sandy through the majority of it, lower tire pressure is really important here. I've got tons of photos, here's a few.

Lots of sights to see, but definitely don't wear white shoes! Roads were hard to drive on and parking was strange. Other than that the park itself was great.

Love the history and trails here. Good for horses, hikers, even strollers good and mountain bikers. Please don't go if you like tagging your hiking places. Old Hunts Ranch had hogs there. Really cool abandoned buildings. Be careful to watch where you step. wild fire road to it. Hot in summer not much shade until you near houses on ranch.
