Excellent place to stay.  Accommodations were extremely clean and their treatment of guests was exemplary.  Complimentary breakfast was delicious and well serviced.  Loved the fact that Wingate by Wyndham is convenient to Interstate 26 as well as Carolina Cataract and Laser  Center. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The hotel was very nice and clean. It sits back off of Hwy 78 on the campus of Charleston Southern so you are secluded from traffic. You can see the interstate but noise was not an issue. The provided hot breakfast was great! Included waffle makers, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, yogurts, milk, orange and apple juice, and assortment of fruit. The provided luggage carts are very nice for taking luggage to the rooms. Also, this hotel is not in the hustle and bustle of the city but one can easily make it to downtown in approx 20 - 30 minutes depending on traffic.

The staff was great and the breakfast was pretty good but the bed was a old and a little hard. I slept on the comforter and it was much better. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

I loved this hotel. I arrived a couple of hours prior to my check in time and Melody was more than willing to see if there were rooms ready that I could check in to. Even though it's located beside a college and Interstate 26, it was very quiet and peaceful. It's also not a bad commute to downtown Charleston, which will save you some money in the long run. I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit the Charleston area.

After a 14 hour drive, I was very displeased with the customer service during check-in. Other than the bad customer service, I have no other complaints. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
