My family and I have been having fun at this amazing state park for over 30 years now and we will continue to do so for another 30 years! We love the fishing, camping, swimming, hiking, and picnicking they have to offer. We have a camper on a permanent site at Yellow Creek Campground just a mile away from the state park on Rt. 422. My daughter loves to swim at the public beach inside of the state park and I love Bass fishing here as well. Park rangers are kind, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the area. Very family friendly place with activities and educational programs for children available different times throughout the year.

Beautiful lake park.. loads of room for biking, walking, jogging and boat rides or if u just want some peace and quiet. Great spot for fishing as well and if u fancy a cold swim now that's it fall, there's a small beach area and water is slightly clean. I do wish they had more bathrooms though as most of the time the toilets are always closed. But otherwise great spot to hang out with friends and family.I

Very nice, clean park. This park has a swimming area roped off and a changing restroom. Lots of picnic area, tables at each site equipt with habachi style grills, and it's all free!

Great first time experience! Loved the cabin, facilities are modern and clean. Trails could use better maintenance and mileage markings. Beach area disappointing, concession stand looks like it's been closed for years. Hopefully, locals heard they received a grant. Will be back next year!
