I don't ever complain about places but this really made me upset.

My mom wore a jacket that had one of those sensors that is connected to the jacket. Right when we entered the store the sensor alarm went off. We tried getting help at the closest checkout area but they were busy which is of course no big deal so we went over to the women's dresses and asked nicely for my mom to have her sensors cut off. I told them the situation and they looked at us like we were thieves! Kept asking for a receipt and wouldn't give us an scissors so we could cut off the sensor. It is so obvious that the jacket has been worn numerous times. They looked at my mother and I with disgust. I've never been treated like that in my entire life until these two older women spoke to us like that. They were arguing with us going back and forth. I'm sure if we were white they would cater to us. Shame on those two.

Give Gerry H. a raise! He spent over an hour helping us find the right clothing items (even at closing time). Great customer service and great prices!

Only place to buy the best clothing at very reasonable prices. Got when sales are on which is almost always, and you'll need a mathematician to figure out which coupons can be used with which merchandise, but if you don't mind working at it a bit, you get GREAT DEALS. Most associates are very helpful, but you can get a bad one once in a while, just like anywhere else.

I visited Valley West store in West Des Moines with the intent of purchasing 8-10 dress shirts. The sales associate did not smile once and only offered the barest hint of service in looking up other stores I could find shirts. Even after stating I need 4 more shirts and do not want to drive 20 miles he still pointed out they have 1 shirt I was interested in. At least that's what the computer stated. He did not call to verify

I drove 20 miles to the Southridge store to encounter worse customer service in the form of Jesus and his boss. Jesus spent 5 minutes with his head down in a pile rechecking the same 8 shirts 5 times in hopes I would leave. When I told his manager about this and his rude response to my request to check in back he proceeded to argue. His manager stated 6 times she was trying to help and 6 times I asked her to complete the return. Finally, she was able to help me on the 6th request.

I come here for the MAC makeup counter and I love it. The girls are always so friendly and helpful and give great recommendations. I won't go anywhere else for my MAC favorites.
