Car is now in the shop for the 3rd time in a month for a problem I eventually had to diagnose myself. Yet found out the shop manager or insurance agent had suspected that the wheel bearing was the problem before and still let me commute on the highway daily in a car that could lose a wheel at any moment. 

Bunch of fools in the shop, slow as hell for service, inspection, repair, whatever. Doing whatever they can to get out of fixing a wheel bearing damaged in an impact, which is a glaring safety issue. Messed with amplifier settings and had stereo almost maxed. Have heard of customers' cars being left alone for weeks while others get more complex jobs done same day.

Wonderful experience! Took my car here for some warranty work and they had it done before expected. Cochran also gave me a dealership loaner car for the time I was without mine. Great people, great service!

I bought my 2013 VW GLI there a little over a year ago. The overall car purchasing process was pretty decent for the most part.  However, the service department is run like a 3 ring circus. 

A few weeks after buying my car I noticed that the brakes were squeaking every time I came to a stop. So, I brought it in for service all to be told everything was completely in within passable spec for PA vehicle inspection (it had a fresh 6/17 sticker on the windshield). So, they told me they would clean the rotors off free of charge because there may be some buildup from sitting on the lot. After this I still notices squeaking at every stop. So since I have an above average mechanic ability I pulled the wheels off and checked the brakes myself. The rotors were completely rusted on the inside and the outsides were very worn. The brake pads were so worn down that they were cracked from excessive heat. I love hen purchases $350 worth of brake parts and installed them myself. I brought the old parts back to Volkswagen and he service supervisor told me that she agreed that the parts were worn and shouldn't have passed a PA inspection. I then started seeking reimbursement and would go weeks without a call or email or any other attempt to solve this issue. I eventually proposed an offer that worked out in their favor of course of them outfitting my vehicle with WeatherTech floor mats for my vehicle because it was somewhat equal value. In return I got front only floor mats instead of front and rear. But it is what it is at this point.  I also got some warranty work done there which was also hectic experience and not to mention they treat everyone like they have no knowledge of vehicle operation and mechanics (I even self diagnosed it) 

So, I am now approaching my inspection date at the end of the month and they were advertising "free inspections" when I bought the car. So, I'm going to take my vehicle out and figure out what I need for inspection.. which will likely be something off the wall just because it's a free inspection and they need to make money. If it needs work I will be seeking a second opinion, which will likely not require work to be done as I am very consistent with routine maintenance.

Took my GTI here for a 30k service. Great customer service all around. Price was fair and everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. A+
