A-1 Rent A Car is a niche auto renter in Mesquite, Texas. We offer cash rental (with limitations) to fill a void for those with challenged credit and are without major credit cards.

We offer the following options for our customers:
1. Daily Rental
2. Rent-to-Own
3. Sales

At A-1 we take pride in offering low down payments and affordable, reliable transportation to everyone.

To qualify, we will need the following:
1. Valid Texas drivers license
2. Proof of insurance that will cover our vehicle (in renter's name)
3. Proof of income (two recent check stubs)
4. Proof of residence (lease agreement, utility bill, etc.)

I rented there before and they are really a good place to rent from considering they are use cars....its a family own business and they mother and daughter is very nice and sweet...I will rent from them again without a doubt..

These people are very unprofessional, they have bad customer service and are very rude. The car I rented for 4 months from them was in good condition and I always paid on time except for one time. When renting from them, before driving off in the car you are renting make sure you take pictures of the whole car inside and out because the owner/Letty's mom tried to say I put some stuff on the ceiling that was on there when I first got the car. Then she tried to say I broke the mirror. For some reason I knew she was going to try to come up with anything to keep my deposit considering I did not go over mileage and the car was return the way I received it. When I first got the car, I thought about taking pictures, but I didn't think I would have to because they already know what their cars look like upon inspection. I was going to rent the car again for two more weeks, but after being on the phone with Letty and hearing her mom being rude towards me in the background just was enough for me so I decided to return the car and take my money somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Good customer service and professionalism goes along way when having a business. It guarantees your customers will return and will give a good review.

Worst place ever and I rented from them before. The ladies are great especially Gina. I was all set to rent from them again and the man Ben was rude, and only want to rent to select ppl and aggressive and even hung up in my face when I called back. I reported this behavior as he stated he was the owner and any person that act as such definitely will feel the meaning of what goes around comes around when it comes to customer service but then again ppl like him don't care. Their rude to the grave and beyond. Just an awful place and experience and I wouldn't advise anyone to rent from them or better yet him.
