I am a very satisfied, long term Avis user and rent a car 3-5 times per year.  I recently rented a full-size sedan for 5 of us to travel.  I was a little concerned going in how comfortably we would travel, but when I arrived at Avis, we were upgraded to a new large SUV that not only fit us perfectly, but drove smoothly and quietly.  Thank you Avis!

Their rental site said come at noon to pick it up. But they closed at noon. Good work. Your own site can't even tell people when you can't rent a car.

Reserved an economy car for 8am.  Got there and they had only a Mustang convertible and a SUV, for a much higher rate.  Was told it was because I reserved for 8am and didn't arrive until 10am.  Nothing in paperwork says anything about reserved cars being available only at that time, and that is nothing like the awesome experience we had at the Enterprise in down the road.
