The airport taxes are incredibly High! That said, renting from Alamo makes it worthwhile. Their STAFF is awesome! I rent there a lot on weekends and their prices and selection of vehicles makes it worthwhile.

Ms. Jerry at the Alamo counter in Little Rock set me up in one of the best rental cars I've ever had.  The 2018 Jeep she put me in was spectacular!  Checking in/out was quick and easy.  I will use them on my next trip to Little Rock for sure.

The Alamo booth was closed with a sign going to the Enterprise booth in the garage (apparently all the rental car companies are owned by 3 or 4 major companies). The employee at the booth was very friendly, and courteous. The service was also very quick, I only had to wait a few minutes while the customer in front of me finished up with his rental car transaction. The car I was assigned was having an issue with the key fab (it was a push-button start car, not a key in the ignition start). Instead of trying to troubleshoot it and me run into an issue during my trip, the representative immediately suggested to switch me to a different car. She didn't want me to end up stuck somewhere trying to get the the key fab to work - which I really appreciated considering it was SO HOT in Arkansas during my trip. Usually I stick with one rental car company because I am a "preferred" member (whatever that means), but I was very happy with the service and quality at Alamo/Enterprise. Thank you!

My wife and I planned a trip to Branson, MO. for November 15, 2017. We made our plane reservations Oct 1, 2017 and at the same time we made reservation for a car with Alamo Car Rental which is part of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. 
  When we arrived on Wednesday night, 15th and went straight to the Alamo location. When we got there, the desk was already closed. No sign saying sorry no rentals available. Went outside and saw the pickup/drop off booth was dark and closed. Walked over to the Enterprise and asked if there was anyone around for Alamo. We were informed they were closed because they have no cars and Enterprise had no cars. I said we had a reservation and she said, sorry. 
   We went back in and spoke with the people at AVIS and was told that this is a normal situation during the week. So we had to rent a car from them at double the rate of Alamo or Enterprise. 
  Went back out and Mr. Orcutt spoke with us and said sorry but he will try to help get an adjustment, Alamo and Enterprise are under the same hat, if you use someone else. The only else was Avis car rental. We said we had no choice, we were due in Branson that night. 
   He said to copy the paperwork -rental agreement from Alamo and the AVIS charges and send them to him. He will get an adjustment for us.    I sent the copies in November after getting home. We have had no communications with him or Alamo/Enterprise.

   People, be warned if you are flying into Little Rock, Ark. expecting a rental car from Alamo or Enterprise during the week at night. 
    The way the people at AVIS said this is a typical situation all the time. No cars later in the evening Monday thru Friday.
