I travel very often and rent exclusively from Avis on my trips. This was by far the worst set-up I’ve experienced. The lines for Avis preferred were stacked 20+ deep since a flight had just landed from ATL. The gal working the kiosk was nice enough but she wasn’t ever given a chance with the ‘technology’ she had at her disposal. When I finally got keys to my car it smelled of smoke but I didn’t dare head back to wait in that line for another hour and exchange it. These systems BADLY need an upgrade to keep pace with every other Avis out there.

AVIS Rental is almost always a great experience.  In over 100 business rentals, I have experienced a minor inconvenience only ONCE,..and that was pretty minor.  Staff are friendly, helpful and professional at all times.

My only minor complaint would be;  sometimes the inside of the windshield is cleaned without using either paper towels or a CLEAN clorh.  Result: a smudged windshield that does not become apparent until you re driving into the sun, especially in the morning.  Then the window becomes very bright with refracted sunlight and makes road vision difficult.  Often, I end up having to stop to clean the inside windshield for safe vision.  Otherwise the vehicles are immaculate!  I do love AVIS and would never switch to another agency.

Normally AVIS is a top notch company... if you can get them to answer to phones... customers waiting on cars they reserved, but no one will answer

Will not answer the phone. Tried for 3 days to reach customer service. Left messages through the airport as well. The phone rings and rings... No help at all... Terrible customer service. You've lost a customer.
