My wife and I had a fantastic experience recently. Tom our salesman and Will (sale person in training) took great care of us and went out of their way to make the buying process as painless (and FUN) as possible. We did get to talk to the store manager, Ed. Ed was knowledgeable, personable, and we had a blast chatting with him. All in all, we got awesome furniture at a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend a stop at this furniture store.

Sal at the Green Brook store was such a pleasure to work with. We purchased a queen bedroom set, living room set, sofa bed and dining set... but my husband and I never felt pressured or pushed to buy anything. However, the store selection and Sal’s excellent customer service compelled us to buy all these items in one night. We walked in the store and had no idea we’d check so much off our to do list. He was amazing and professional. We left the store confident that we got everything we needed at the right price.

I could not agree more with all the comments in this thread about the horrible service and all the delivery lies with the Central NJ stores. I have purchased furniture from Ashley in both Florida and Louisiana without any problems and was very pleased with both their service and products. I recently went to the Green Brook, NJ location and purchased a mattress. When I was making the purchase they stated that they would call with a delivery date. I explained that I was not willing to purchase the mattress without a firm delivery date since there are so many mattress stores in NJ that could deliver a mattress promptly. After spending 20 minutes or so trying to figure out the "new computer system" and how to purchase just a mattress, I was told my mattress would be delivered tomorrow (1/19/2018). I was told that I would get a call today to let me know a 4 hour time frame for delivery. That call never happened so I called Ashley. When I pressed the option to speak with Delivery I was on hold fore more than 20 minutes while they pressed buttons to take me on and off hold; presumably to show shorter hold times. I know that trick where call centers just take the customer off hold (music stops) and then put them right back on hold to start the time over. So I called back and pressed the option for "customer service" which proved to only be helpful to tell me that the mattress could not be delivered tomorrow because it was not in. The woman I spoke to was not able to tell me when it would be in or when it would be delivered. She explained the store was gonna call me ....heard that before. I explained I wanted a refund and was told that I had to go to the store to process this as she did not have the power to do it. The Central NJ division of Ashley could not be more shady. They only gave me a delivery date because I was going to go some place else unless they gave me one. So they made one up to keep the sale. Then didn't follow through and have not called me about it. This is a deplorable lack of respect for the customer and deplorable business practices. This review is only the beginning of my complaints about this location and I will continue to post them so that others do not suffer the same as the many people on this thread who did not get their stuff delivered as promised. .

The best experience I’ve ever had when purchasing furniture. The environment was welcoming and professional as well. Staff from beginning to end was extremely helpful and courteous. Layout of store is excellent. Incredible salesmanship by Moe S. with great leadership by Ed J. Thank you!

Went to buy a new king size bed with my wife. The sales person Abe was awesome. He was friendly and made recommendations that worked best for us and our budget. He wasn’t your usual sales person trying to push high priced items. If you go to this Ashley’s store ask for Abe. You won’t be disappointed
