I suppose this was my mistake ;0, but I still feel the need to make people aware that Raymour & Flanigan has a NO RETURN POLICY ON ANYTHING once it leaves the store, furniture or accessories. Of course this is written on the back of the receipt, but I didn't take the time to read it. However, in the past when I purchase items that are not refundable, the vendor will usually stress this, but not at this store. In addition, they don't have any signs posted anywhere in the store, especially at the check out customer service counter! My purchase was almost $300.00 and they wouldn't take anything back or exchange it, not even a credit toward a future purchase. The manager said "Sorry that is our store policy and my hands are tied. Once an item leaves the store or it is accepted in your home it can not be resold." My advice, is to make sure it fits perfectly and take exact measurements before you purchase anything. NO RETURNS - you'll be stuck with it! Fortunately, I found a place for the mirror, but now I have two 40" metal wall décor pieces that I have to find a place for.

A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE - we moved from an apartment into a new home in the area and as such, needed to furnish it with furniture for each room. Beware - Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. We felt absolutely helpless with limited assistance from Raymour. No one seemed to know what was going on or how to resolved it. Our orders were broken up into 5 deliveries, which was understood. However, nothing arrived on-time and there were no calls to say they were running late. Each delivery had issues with missing items. In one instance, they tried to deliver 2 of the same couches when we had only ordered 1. The cherry on top was our kitchen table. They delivered half of it and explained the base was delayed and would be delivered shortly. Weeks later, I get call to schedule delivery the very next day. Then, on delivery day I get a call saying that the item has been discontinued and would not be fulfilled. Meanwhile, its been two months since I ordered the table and have half of it sitting on my kitchen floor. What a disaster of an organization. If you are looking for 1 or 2 items, you will probably be fine. If you are looking to place a larger order, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and save yourself the hassle, headaches, and stress.

My overall experience was great! The store was clean and well organized. My sales women was Sophie and she was the best.

A++++ Service. We went there to have our new home furnished and our salesperson Gene and the store manager Mac took care of us and devoted the better part of a morning going over our selections. They gave us the attention normally reserved for commercial customers . Both Gene and Mac were knowledgeable without being pushy like so many furniture and mattress stores. I literary dreaded going there at first because of all the bad experiences I have had at furniture stores but I was pleasantly surprised at the Raymour and Flanigan experience at the Watchung store. I almost never leave reviews on Google but I made an exception in this case as the service was out of this world. The prices are a bit higher than at discount furniture places but you get what you pay for! Now the prices we paid were very reasonable for the quality we received. All wood, no particle board garbage and leather upholstery that is just divine. For the quality you will not find better prices...this ain't no IKEA or Bob's Discount Furniture...you get quality stuff at a reasonable premium price. I will go back for my next furniture purchase. Lightening fast delivery...they get it in your house like 3 days later and they set everything up and take away the garbage.

NOT RECOMMEND - BAD SHOPPING EXPERIENCE This place reminders me of car dealerships on Rt 22 in the 70's & 80's. All the sale associates swarm at you when you enter the building and most will tell you anything to make a sale. Their sales pitch is to tell that they worked out a great deal by marking everything up to a price that nobody pays then discounting that to a price that is still expensive. They will push their high interest Raymor & Flanagan credit card on you. Their 45 day mattress guarantee should be reviewed by consumer affairs. If you buy something you have to sign more paperwork than a home loan. The customer service was like bad customer service from the 70's & 80's Mr. Raymour & Mr. Flanagan need to make company policy changes or their stores will be closing. Please no management response needed, it's not going to change anything.
