Don't go here. We rented for four months. Then one day the owner tells us to leave. If we don't they want to charge $75 a day. It goes like this the managers are drunk and on the day we were leaving drove by yelling at our rv to get out. Then drove around with a fire truck blaring the sirens in front of our rv. Really. I don't take to being bullied. Yelling at me to leave fat b*tch only makes me stay and fight your unlawful eviction. See you in court.

No Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are dirty. Managers are drunk and yell at customers if they don't like you. Thus was a nice park when we got here. But now the managers have ruined it. They drive around in a fire truck blaring the siren. Its an rv park mike not a parade.

What a great site. The view from the lake-side of the site is stunning. Happy and helpful owners. We stayed here as a family for 2 nights. Lovely.

This is Mike Newdow - the owner of the Aurora - responding to the review from the Davidsons. As might be imagined, the Davidsons were consistently behind in rent. My managers (Mike and Jackie, who are possibly the greatest and most helpful managers in the history of RV parkdom) worked very hard and were very patient in trying to have these guests pay their bill. In fact, their williingness to trust and work with the Davidsons is the reason these individuals were able to violate that trust and slip out of the park owing many hundreds of dollars. As for their claims, they are without merit. They arrived on 9/22 - thus, the $250 was for nine days. Not only do we have free WiFi (supplied by MediaCom), but we have separate lines on each end of the park to strengthen reception everywhere. Their allegations of a smell from the bathrooms is one I've never heard previously - perhaps they forgot to flush. (Incidentally, by the end of Spring we hope to have fully remodeled bathrooms as well as a completely new ADA-compliant unit with shower.) Not only is cable free, but we have loaner TVs for those whose older units are unable to connect to the latest technology. We do admit that Clear Lake has some problems with clarity and, at times, cyanobacteria blooms. We on the north end of the lake, however, are not affected much by those, and water skiers and others are frequently seen enjoying their activities. Meanwhile, our lake - the largest in the state - remains a cherished destination, not only for being unique in having been rated in Bassmaster's top ten list every year, but for its phenomenally clean air, its extraordinary bird life, and it magnificent vistas ... seen nowhere better than at the Aurora.

My and my family just recently moved from Texas and decided to make aurora rv park our temporary home till we get an actual house. We moved in on the 26th of September paid 250 for 4 days and paid our monthly rent of 600$ throughout the month of october. Before we could even get 10 days into november they wanted 2 months of rent or get out. They fought us saying we owed two months of rent when I had receipts that showed I did. The husband/maintenance man will treat you like your an idiot and is always driving like a demon through the park. The WiFi does not work unless you are inside the office. The bathrooms always stink and smell like sewage. They charge to have cable which you don't get at your spots. The water is always nasty at the park to fish and swim. We donated goods for them to use in the bathrooms for the guests that came there and it never went to those bathrooms they kept it. The "managers" of the park take up 8 whole spots including the dog run that is on the grounds for their living quarters. They tell everybody that dogs must be on leashes at all times but there dog is never on a leash. He just runs wild in the park.
