Finding a place to stay in the SF Bay Area with easy access to the city is a challenge, and this is probably the best of the few options. The park is walking distance to the Larkspur Ferry, which is a beautiful ride across the bay to San Francisco's iconic Ferry Building. Compared to dealing with parking in the city, this is the way to go. The park itself is really just concrete and gravel and there's not much to look at. It's also really close to the highway and there was overnight jack hammering while we were there. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We were also pleased with the laundry facilities.

Read their rules before you go. Don't complain later! Did not use restrooms so excluded from my personal experience. Close to SF, yes. Walk to ferry easy, yes. Walk to a great brewery, yes. OH, the adjacent estuary with human/dog walk trails is a blessing. Sites are close, yes but remember you Dont live here and a safe place to park your RV means a lot. Laundry very nice. We reserved 3 nights but stayed a week. It turned out to exceed our expectations. Great taking off place to other adventures. Check them out.

Do not stay at this park. Management is very unfriendly and rude. I arrived at park at 8:30pm with a sick parent who I am traveling home with. I called the park manager, whose number was on the board, to get a bathroom key and internet code but he would not give it to me because it was after hours. He was very rude and upset that I called him. my mother had a long difficult day traveling due to being sick and needed a washroom to use and for a shower but was not able to use the facilities because the manager would not help.

Staff is great! 10min walk to farry to go to San Francisco. Nice paved road and gravel spots. It is cramped and expensive compared to other parks across the bridge however is A WHILE LOT SAFER than the other places. Nice pet area with bags. Reasonably priced laundry. Salt water pool.

Good campground with great access to San Francisco. It is more like a parking lot with red-painted railroad ties to separate sites. The sites are level and on rocks, so you're not tracking in dust and dirt and the hook-ups are easy. The bathrooms are cleaned every day, the staff is friendly and full of knowledge about the area. The best part is that it is within a 15-minute walk to the ferry to San Francisco, so no difficult and payed parking in the city.
