This is a lovely campground with a super sweet staff!!  It is very clean and I saw the housekeepers clean the bathrooms twice a day!  The lake and wildfowl are wonderful to experience, especially sunsets!  There is gravel and the cottages look nice. The Cafe is open on Fri, Sat and Sunday and meal are very reasonable. I would recommend a new adult clubhouse in the back big section. The old one smells and it is in the walls. The wi-if is not so good. The family clubhouse is very nice!!!  Do not stay in the front old section as it is crowded. Overall this Resort is so peaceful.  I would definitely come here again!!

I really enjoy it out here at Lake Minden. I am currently still out here and love it. The lake is Nice for our family to swim and spend time together, they have showers and bathrooms to wash off after swimming or to shower when you need too. I would stay forever if I could

Pros:
       >Staff is super helpful
       > Pond is stocked with fish
       > Nice grassy areas for tents & day use
       > Cafe food is fresh, cooked to order.
Cons:
      > mosquitoes!!! Bring repellant!!!
      >Tents in motor home spaces. 
      > Not enough spaces for rigs because of tents.
     > Farmers pond - very shallow
     > No pool
     > Needs updating
     > RV spaces too small to open slides or awnings. 
     > Cafe has very limited hours

We held a family reunion at Lake Minden RV resort on August 12th and it was fabulous, everything turned out great it was a beautiful location to hold our event.  Prices were very reasonable and the staff especially Rachael, Jim Stanley and Sonja did a fantastic job.  We will definitely be back.

Very few sewer hookups, 50 amp electric, bathrooms out of the 70's. Facilities all need updating and remodeled. Staff very courteous, what facilities they have, very clean.
