As of today this is the only 5 star rating I've ever given to a vendor. Hands down the absolute best place on the Internet to order photo equipment and electronics. This is especially true for Canadian shoppers with the free shipping to Canada on orders over $99. Knowledgeable staff, great selection, reasonable prices, easy price matching and price adjustments. I've been a customer since 2005 and I've never had an issue that wasn't resolved to my satisfaction. I wish they had a store near me.

You can always depend on BH to have a good selection of products and very competitive prices.
      They carry a wide range of smart phones. Also they are an authorized Apple reseller. 
    They do have observed holidays that you need to be aware of. 
    They're very clear on their website about any upcoming holiday hours.and or closings. 

Also no tax on orders shipped to most stayed. This can be a significant savings.

Have received awful customer service. My mother ordered me a lens to be shipped to me as a surprise for my birthday. When I got my package, it was not the correct order. The in-package order information and item were for someone else in a completely different state. I was supposed to receive a lens and instead received lens extenders. I am a photography college student with finals coming up so I have little to no time to take this item to a FedEx to ship it back, and B&H refuses to do anything about it until it has been scanned/shipped. I just want my birthday present so that I can use it for finals. Will be warning all of my fellow photo majors, many of whom purchase from B&H weekly.

Terrific electronics store...one of a kind really.

Knowledgeable staff. Interesting system of ordering and picking up goods on the store.

Be prepared to check your bags or backpack when you enter. Lots of security protocols which makes sense when you run an electronics store. 

Great place to actually see how something performs as opposed to buying at an on line retailer.

Plenty of staff to guide you...no one was pushy like going to a BestBuy-that was appreciated. 

Take your kids there to see their conveyor belt system and all in the cool gadgets-we’ll worth your time.

Frankly, B&H is one of the modern wonders of NYC. It's also as quirky and strange as it gets.  One of the fun things . . . when you buy something it comes from upstairs via an elevator and conveyor system, arriving at check out when you arrive at check out.  It's an Orthodox Jewish establishment (forgive me if I'm using the wrong term) that's closed on Saturday - something I admire them for.  Sales people aren't commissioned, so you can trust their advice I think. In general, they're always knowledgeable about the products they sell. And (no kidding) they sell EVERYTHING.  It's the most complete photo/AV store I've ever seen anywhere - including a truly remarkable vintage camera department
