Great stuff, but the sales people are a whole other story.   I won't say anything more, but the yes to the dress!  The clothes are only what I'm going to review here because I am not a negative person and I believe in focusing on the positives.  The pluses are the clothes are amazing.

1st time a vintage shopping in NY & this is definitely a high end vintage store.
The ladies were nice even though I was just window shopping. It would be nice if they had a waiting chair or 2 for the husband or boyfriends tagging along.

excessive pricing.   much better at WGACA or PILGRIM NEW YORK.   Both have more wearable items.

Completely breath-taking selection, perfect staff that was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A must-visit.

This is where to go if you're looking for true vintage- $1000 Edwardian lawn tea dresses, period rentals and the like. Mix of other eras is hit or miss, but everything they do have is excellent and nothing is newer than 90s. Rather lacking in brandy brand accessories and shoes like Chanel and Hermes, but there are enough other shops for that. On one hand the help is old fashioned and overbearing; on the other hand one absolutely requires that level of service to walk away with an LBD that fits and flatters, for example. These high end vintage shops are not DIY places for good reason! 4/5 stars just because it really used to be the temple but the last ten years have given way to stiff competition and it shows in the selection. Still a huge fan.
