I had an inguinal hernia repaired at this place a year and a half ago.  This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hospital.  The nurse was ugly to me, very unfriendly and threatening; they put these EKG harnesses all over me that were totally unnecessary--the operation had nothing to do with my heart; and they would not give adequate pain medicine, either during the stay or on my release.  And when I was released, the incision did not heal properly, and I ended up having to fix it myself.

If you can avoid this place, do it.  I'd sooner go to a New Orleans fortune teller than go here again.

These are the nicest people ever! I have been in and out of this place for months and everyone has been wonderful. Not sure who is leaving bad reviews but several depts have been helpful and kind.

Being a nurse I know how patients should be treated. This hospital has provided the worse care to a very good friend of mine. The doctors are not communicating with her, other doctors or their staff. They tried taking her to surgery (non emergent) without even telling her what it was or about she had to refuse to get the doctor to even come see her.  The ER triage nurse and tech treated us like trash. The ER doctor spent 3 minutes in the room examining her and never came back to explain any labs or test.  On a brighter note, all the other nurses that have taken care of my friend have been wonderful. I hate to give such a low rating to a company, but as of now all we want to do is to be transferred out of here. I truly hope others don't receive the care we have gotten since being here.

I came in with severe abdominal pain and have never used bathroom in two weeks and and constipated and all they did was blood work and and me home the doctor was very rude and didn't give me anything to control the pain at all. The doctor that was on call was doctor Elaine ucbamichael she was no good and still went home in several pain.

my dad had to wait 7 hours to get my mom admitted and then they screwed that up as making it to where she was "involuntary" when my dad has power of attorney for medical... as they are waiting in the lobby someone walked up to the desk and told them
that he was told to come there because he was suicidal and the lady told that person to "have a seat and they would get to him"... this kind of treatment is horrible!
