Everything was fine until I met one hispanic nurse, Melina. with short black hair that made my whole experience awkward. She asked me questions with face expressions that made me feel like she wasn't believing what I was saying about not being able to breath right. Then she asks me why I didn't go a week ago, why is today so special that made me think to go to the hospital today. I'm sure there's a less hostile way to go about things. Then when I'm told I have an upper respiratory infection and about to be discharged she comes back and tells me what my other nurse and Dr already told me, "did you hear your results were negative?" Then she stares for a while and says, "it's a good thing." I know it's a good thing. Even my bf thought she was awkward. As a patient I need to be able to feel I can trust my nurse/Dr to believe what I say instead of being looked at and questioned like I'm lying. They definitely need to train their nurses in bedside manners.

I have personally had a good experience. Ill admit the er was a little slow, but they were very thorough with there testing and diagnosis. The staff have been absolutely friendly, courteous, and very professional. The food here was really good, far from what I expected.

I was transferred and admitted before Thanksgiving. I received excellent care during one of the scariest experiences of my life. I was on the 4th floor. Some nurses that really made my stay better were Joesph, LeAnn and Jasmine. Joesph was there almost everyday I was and he brought smiles, conversations and excellent care. LeAnn is basically superwoman. She is very understanding and accomdating. Jasmine was my nurse on my last day and really comforted me during an emotional breakdown, which isn't technically her job, but it was exactly what I needed. Thank you!

If I could give you ZERO stars I would! My husband went to you guys 3 weeks ago because he had a stomach pain. He told you that it had been hurting for a MONTH and that he couldn't eat. You gave him a GI cocktail, did bloodwork and sent him home with a diagnosis that he had Gastritis. Too bad you didn't take your time to perform scans or ultrasounds because you would have found a MASS in his intestines! Now we're at kingwood medical center awaiting surgery for colon cancer. Two tumors have to be removed along with 2 feet of colon! How could you have missed this?? Three weeks!! The surgeon came to give us a preop consultation last night, and said he was a short time away from a rupture! My husband could have died and all you have to say is ooops? Sorry??? U will be hearing from me!! oh and btw everyone, my husband is ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY with the best insurance out there! This is how you treat your uniformed men??? You should be ASHAMED!

The Wound Center is fantastic. Words cannot even begin to describe the blessing of our primary care doctor's referral to Dr Jemison. After 10 weeks, of delayed healing of a surgical wound, the wound stopped draining and completely closed in less than 3 weeks. After the rate of healing had been only a mm or two weekly, it was so amazing to be able to clearly see daily improvement.
