Horrible place for an emergency. Never again return. If time allows travel to Conroe or College Station! ER wait time is all day and they still have the audacity to charge over 7k for the wait time.

I'm not sure where to start, my daughter was scheduled for an ultrasound a week in advance, I registered 2 days before the scheduled date, yet I was made to wait over 3 hours to be seen. Waiting in a lobby with no explanation from any staff with a 5 year old girl that's in pain is horrible. The patient care was absolutely ridiculous and I will be sure we never return here again. Update* After over 3 hours of waiting I called the radiology department from the lobby and was informed by a rude person (Billy) that informed me my daughter didn't even have an appointment and I was not in the system. Mind you, we registered and checked in hours before. I notified the desk clerk we were leaving and contacted my physician with the information, when his office staff contacted hmh she was informed that my appointment was at 2 and they were running behind. Mind you Billy stated my daughter was not scheduled at all, my doctors office had us scheduled for 1pm, and we had registered and checked in the day of the incident. This place is absolutely ridiculous and the patient care is horrible. I am appalled the story changed multiple times depending on who was asked.

My Wife has Preeclampsia and the nurses there in Labor and Delivery threatened us both that if she does nothing but lay in bed she could die on Christmas. What kind of staff does that. That and they sent her home, she has Protein in her urine and high blood pressure. No meds no nothing just go home and lay down. I will be filing charges against them for malpractice and negligence.

Wait time is enough to kill a healthy person! 9 hours I waited! The staff is friendly, but this hospital is I'll equiped to service 1% of the population of Huntsville. Never coming here again!!! If rather die

While the staff I worked with was fine they were the only thing good about my experience. The food was beyond awful..it was borderline inedible. Ladies from diet actually followed me into my shower to get my menu request. This was way out of line. If you are planning to go into this hospital please set up your meals from any outside source unless you plane on this being some kind of weight loss program.
