Such an amazing experience with our child's birth here. We had to stay a week and everything about our stay exceeded my expectations especially the nurses. My daughter's pediatrician is located on campus and look forward to our visits each time! Highly recommended!!!

I had a terrible experience in the ER. I had an out patient procedure done 4 days prior and that was fine but when I had some complications and came in on a Sat afternoon the nurses were great but the Dr had absolutly no compassion or empathy for my pain and inflicted more pain on me while talking in a tone that made me feel very belittled and insulted. She seemed to be put off with having to treat me. There were no other patients there so I know it wasn't because she was overwhelmed. I fully intend to make a formal complaint as soon as I am able to drive again. I will never go to the ER there again and I strongly recommend others not to as well.

Very DISAPPOINTED with the service that I'm receiving this time around at this hospital. I could have saved money and time by going to a hospital closer to home. I was very pleased with the service that I received the visit I had here for a procedure, but I must say, if you have to stay here longer than a day, DON'T! The FOOD SERVICES department gets a ZERO, a "F" as a score from me based on accuracy of the order and the pleasantness of the staff. There is one older gentleman that works in the department who is very polite. The nursing staff could be better if they didn't seem under staffed or over worked. I encountered 3 nurses that stood out from the whole facility ShaRay, Precious, and Maria - OUTSTANDING all around. A+ for them. I found that most of the other staff hardly ever speaks if they aren't directly dealing with you. Don't waste your time or money here!

Although some of the nurses and doctors were decent, it was more hit and miss. My daughter was born with a heart condition which was handled extremely poorly. The billing office is a disaster. I told them rather explicitly which was the primary and which was the secondary, but they seemed to mess that up with every other bill. They claim to be an in network aetna hospital but it seems like most of their clinical staff is out of network. If you go here for an ultrasound, they will charge you as if you had a hospital stay. I'm going to the Pavillion for my next delivery.

I was flown to this hospital from a smaller hospital 2 hours away. I was 22 weeks pregnant with twins and I was going into labor. I spent 84 days here on bedrest. The doctors and nurses were amazing! The cleaning crew was super friendly and did an awesome job. The food was great for hospital food and the food service crew were friendly. After 84 days, it really did feel like home away from home. I delivered at 34 weeks and my twins spent 16 days in the NICU. The doctors and nurses were great and always kept me in the loop. I live two hours away so if I wasn't there when the Dr did rounds, they always called me. I would definitely recommend The Woman's Hospital of Texas!!
