I was flown to the ER here after a serious car accident. All the staff I had contact with were helpful and pleasant, I have no complaints about the care I received. I was discharged abruptly with no time to make travel arrangements though, would have been nice to have a little advanced notice.

Worst medical experience of all time. Appear to be very under staffed. My son was a emergency patient. Once you are initially evaluated you are placed in room and forgotten about. A IV port is placed in your which essentially hold you hostage, preventing you to leave. Everywhere you looked there where individuals with the port in their arms waiting as we were. There was a monitor on the wall listing all the patients and how long they had been there still seeking treatment. Some where as long as 16hrs. Only until I threatened to remove the IV myself did anyone respond. My son is a student at Lamar University and allowed a ambulance to transport him there. We fortunately have insurance can choose other locations. It is sad that the uninsured have to be treated this way.

I have been sick for 5 days. Aching, chills, extreme congestion, high fever, the works. I finally broke down after missing a week of work. They did a urine sample, blood work, chest x-ray. they had no intention of diagnosing me, they told me they didn't even do a influenza screen. I told them I had no primary physician yet they insisted on me following up elsewhere. I don't have money for it. Especially now that I've missed a week of work after the Thanksgiving holiday. The triage nurse literally told me that they didn't know what it was but they were treating it as bronchitis.... No de-congestant, or cough suppressant( non narcotic is fine I'm not chasing drugs). They sent me home with an inhaler and amoxicillin. This is the third time I've had a horrific experience there and left without any REAL help. They are, unfortunately, the only charity hospital in Beaumont but enough was enough to day I will drive to Houston from now on. Two hours away, regardless of the ailment, just to feel like I'm actually being taken care of. This hospital is horrible, if at all avoidable, DON'T GO HERE!!!!! They don't care about you

Staph city. I picked up a mrsa staph infection at Beaumont St. Elizabeth in 2006. Since then I have found numerous people who also got MRSA staph there due to poor sanitation conditions. And I know of several folks who died from staph infections there. I will never set foot in St. Elizabeth under any circumstance. There is a good reason for all the one star ratings And I won't even go into the poor treatment by the nursing staff!

I am extremely happy that I choose this hospital, the nurses are so kind and professional.I would definitely recommend Christus hospital
