Story

Base Camp Bar and Grill was founded in 2010 by a group of five friends who had a vision for a casual, high quality, and approachable restaurant in the often daunting resort town of Aspen Snowmass. To this day Base Camp has stayed true to this ethos and offers up new american cuisine, coupled with over 30 craft beers and a wide selection of fine wines, in a relaxed and eclectic dining environment.

Conveniently located slope side at the base of the ski resort of Aspen Snowmass, the restaurant spans two floors, with three fully stocked bars, an expansive downstairs patio complete with a 24ft fire pit, and a second story terrace that boasts the best views of Snowmass Mountain, Base Camp is the spot to meet with family and friends after a day spent on the slopes.

With a casual dining room downstairs as well as the capability to transform the entire second floor of the restaurant into a dance club, complete with hard wood dance floor, DJ booth and extensive lighting set up, Base Camp is the premier event space in Snowmass. From corporate functions, wedding receptions and birthday parties, Base Camp has the space and services for your event.
