I was surprised. I hadn't been here for many years and decided to try it out for lunch. The decor is mountain relaxed and actually feels like a restaurant vs strip mall pizza. It's not fancy or super attractive but I don't think it was meant to be. We did the buffet which was $10 / adult and for a child (under 12) take their age and divide it in half. The salad bar was nothing special, it was the normal lettuce, peas, broccoli, etc. but it was actually nice to have some roughage to balance the pizza. I was surprised because the pizza was actually pretty good. I expected dull and barely edible pizza because they are known for their crust and honey. That's not what I found. The pizzas (buffet) were well prepared and tasty. The crust was soft on the inside while crispy outside. They do have a bar and a patio, neither of which I used. This is a good place to take your kids if you are wanting budget friendly pizza and a relaxed atmosphere.

Great pizza. Great service. Having never had a Colorado style pizza I was interested to try. Kelley was a great server and gave some great suggestions including eating the crust with honey. I ended up forgetting my hat there. Called and spoke to Victor and he found it and is mailing back to Canada for me! That is going above and beyond. Thanks!!!

Pizza is pretty good, but a touch overpriced. The red sauce is very good, but their white crust is pretty bland. The wheat crust is nice, and goes very well with the honey as a dessert. If you are a crust lover, you will enjoy the mountain pie style crust, but if you tend to leave crust behind or Don't care one way or the other, get the prairie pie crust. Their pre designed pizzas a good flavor combos, have never made up a personal pizza because the per item pricing is steep, and I like lots of stuff on my pies! Worth a try, you may love it, but not a frequent stop for us.

Awesome experience!! We came in at a clearly understaffed moment in the day, our waitress was capable of doing it all from bartending to serving and making us feel comfortable and welcome! Pizza was great, awesome salad bar, 18+ beers on tap, what more could you ask for?!! Would highly recommend!

We've gone to Beau Jo's about as long as I can remember. Love the pizza, and as a native I can take pride in it being "Colorado pizza." However . . . we're done patronizing the chain. The prices have been steadily increasing over the years, like many places, but $100 (including a tip) for three people last night was just too much to pay for pizza. I make a pretty decent copycat pizza, and that will just have to suffice now. Cheers, and best wishes, Beau Jo's.
