When you first walk in, you're greeted by many smiles and kind comments. The look of the restaurant is very clean. Food was excellent and well worth the price, the waiters are also very kind. They take care of your plates right away and you will never have an empty glass of whatever you're drinking. Overall, excellent experience!

I have been going Namikos since I was little and I love it, so today my boyfriend and I went to lunch. We were so looking forward to the delicious line of fire shrimp as well as our favorite tempura dish. Went around 1:30 was greeted by nice guy and sat down but then waited a long time for a drink order..the place had maybe 2 or three other tables. Soup and salad never came until meal time which kind of sucked. The staff is always nice but kind of could care less when it comes to timing and checking in it seems. Might be back one day if the waiters cared a little more.

I thought that there may have better choices of Japanese restaurant around Denver... Here it is!!  This restaurant opened about 30 years ago, now daughter of original owner runs this restaurant.
The key to find out good Japanese restaurant is, the name should either be real Japanese style or the name of the owner in the name.... 
Don't blame that I eat Japanese food coming all the way to Denver... if there's a chance to find good Japanese restaurant why not try 🙂

And, I was expecting my order "sukiyaki don" should be similar to Gyudon, however this was real Sukiyaki Don.....  Surprised, taste good though 🙂

The reason why I put 4 star is the taste of Sukiyaki soup so called "Warishita" was slightly sweeter than my preference. But that's still good enough that I feel about real Japanese...

I brought a date here 15 years ago and he had never tried sushi before.  The food was great and so was the first of many dates.   Fast forward 15 years later.... he can't get enough of sushi and we'll be coming back to Namikos to celebrate 15 years worth of amazing dates!!

I believe this is the best sushi in Colorado! I have no complaints about the menu whatsoever. The restaurant interior itself needs some work. It is very run down and can use a remodel.
