My household and I have spent a considerable amount of money at this Best Buy. It was disconcerting, then, to find that my roommate (a Best Buy Elite Plus member) had been temporarily suspended from returning or exchanging items. It was further disheartening to discover that the time period Best Buy set forth in store for the suspension was in fact untrue (45 days was claimed in store when in truth it lasts for one year) and extended to all companies served by Best Buy's return partner. None of this was made clear, even as my roommate signed a statement acknowledging the suspension.

I went to Best Buy to look at and buy one of two TVs I had researched online.  I was helped almost immediately by a sales person.  After checking stock on them, He showed me what I was interested in as they were on display.  After making my choice we completed the sale.  He then suggested I pull my truck up as he retrieve it from stock.  He then helped me load it and we wished each other happy holidays.  It was a good and reasonably quick experience.

A lot depends on the item you're interested in purchasing and which representative offers to help. For example, there's someone in televisions I'd give a 5+ star rating works for best buy and knows more than the specific reps from companies, but others in different areas take far too long to assist and at times know as much or less than what is on the price card or description.

I bought a new cell phone. I researched Verizon and Best Buy prior to shopping Best Buy. The price for the Note 8 was significantly less than Verizon on line. Best Buy transfer all of the stuff off of my old phone...Verizon you do it yourself. I got several helpful hints plus the guy was friendly. I highly recommend  Best Buy.

I went here 2 weeks ago wanting to speak with someone in the car audio department. At first I went to The Geek Squad area and then was sent to the car audio area. Well after waiting at least 10 minutes no one came to help. I then went to try to find the next closest associate and asked where the car audio people were and they told me that they were not working today. That response upset me and I left the store. I was also told that it was easier to schedule an appointment online rather than at the store which is crazy but from my experience must be true. BestBuy should improve their customer service in the car audio department especially with the prices they charge.
