Shay was a fantastic help as I was trying to replace all of my office equipment.  She was highly knowledgeable and listened carefully to my needs.  There were two sets of customers waiting for assistance.  This is why I only give 4 instead of 5.  Shay tried calling over the radio several times to get service to those customers instead of leaving them without service.  She apologized to then several times. She attempted 3 times to call the team but no one answered her call for backup on the floor.  She was trying not to leave me but I encouraged her to serve the other customers who happened to be African American.  As a minority, I know how important it is to see that you are receiving the same level of service as others and how not receiving timely service can be misinterpreted and have a challenging sociological impact. Advice to management - if you have 3 people covering an area make sure to keep 2 on the floor at all times and stagger breaks.  It appeared that one was on break and the other unaccounted for.  However, I also commend you for looking for more help.  They did have a help wanted sign outside. I still highly recommend BEST BUY.  Be patient with them.  They are friendly and knowledgeable but currently understaffed.

This is Best Buy; there is nothing different vs any other store. This location has the best staff out of any other Best Buy that I have visited. The folks in technology actually know their products.

I went to Best Buy to purchase a cordless landlone telephone set. I searched all over the store for a long time, and not one employee asked if they could help me. 
I was finally able to purchase the item I was looking for, but only after I went and asked someone at the front of the store if they even sold what I needed. I needed a cordless phone set for a land line, so it could be connected to a rescue service for an elderly parent. As it turned out, the cordless phones were in the TOYS SECTION! The TOYS SECTION??!! No wonder I could not find these phones!
When I got to the Toy Department, there was a guy there stocking shelves. I asked where the land line phones were located. They were there in the Toys section and he said, "They're over here. Here are all the cordless land line phones we sell." He pushed his stock cart right in front of me, and blocked the aisle. I had to go all the way around the opposite end of the aisle to get to the area I needed. Once there, the guy just walked off, and never offered to help me make the best selection for my needs. 
    I chose a cordless phone  set, unassisted,for my parent's land line. 
    One redeeming quality for my experience in Best Buy was a very nice young man took me from the end of the check out line, while I was waiting, and took me to another register, and completed my transaction. The man at the door was also friendly, as I left the store.

Management team that saw me shopping came over to assist me. He made it a point to go through details about the product I wished to purchase. In doing so, he up sold me by $80. Good job to who ever that dude was!

Broad range of products to choose from that they move around to keep things fresh. If you're looking for the newest toy, they probably have it.
