Fry’s was once good. It was never great, but it was good. Today, sadly, it is a relic that is passing before our eyes. I tried to purchase items today, and was told I could not because the chip in my card would not read. The manager was rude and condescending, and I felt utterly unappreciated as a customer. Strange, since Fry’s would seem to need all the customers it could get. No worries though, as I went to a different store. And swiped my card. Does anyone wonder why Amazon is taking over the world?

If I could subtract stars from the very few positive review for Fry’s, I would. I have had the pleasure of shopping at Fry’s Electronics in Downer’s Grove, IL and (wrongly) assumed I would be met with the same excellent customer service and cleanliness at this Milton, GA location. What a horrible disappointment. They “lost” my online store-pickup and I spent 32 minutes on/off hold while a customer service associate ran around the store collecting the items I had ordered 5 Hours previously. When I arrived at the store for pickup, I also needed to buy one small hardware item in addition to picking up my order at the front. I was unable to locate the item on the shelf, so I made my way over to the sales assistance desk where 3 associates made eye contact with me, and only 1 Said “I will be with you in a minute.”. Five minutes later (after watching them play on a computer and study items in a cart), I asked where I could find my item. “Oh, if we have it, it’s over in Aisle 1B”. No apology for keeping me waiting and no offer to help me find the item. I located a similar item I could use in place of the item they didn’t have, and made my way to The front checkout. Never in my life have I seen employees who look like they hate their jobs more. Surly cashiers who do not greet their customers at all and take their time getting your order. I will never spend my money at Fry’s again and I will make sure that everyone I know who is in the market for electronics steers clear of this customer service graveyard. If this place is still in business in a year, I would be shocked.

Managers attitude were rude and SUPER nasty!! Would never shop there again: I reserved a purchase online and the system showed that the store was open until 10pm. So, I drove over 35 mins just to head over to the store in a timely manner to pick up a late gift. Made it there by 9:45-9:50 and I was told they were CLOSED. No one cared about my drive, my prepaid order or anything. Their ONLY concern was more about going home and talk about how dissatisfied they were. You can tell how the the old fart truly hated his job with his tone. A true happy camper would do whatever to keep a customer happy. Go above and Beyond to make things right. First experience was the WORST experience... Future reference "COUNT ME OUT"!!!

Placed online order on 12/27 at 4pm. Wasn't able to print out an order with multiple items from their web site in Chrome browser due to their buggy web page design. Wound up copy-pasting and emailing a list of items from my order to myself. Never got a "your order is ready" email, so I came to the Milton store at 8:15pm with a printout of an email that they sent me upon placing an order. Stood in checkout line for about 4 minutes. Then approached cashier Thomas. Explained my situation to him. He started grunting unhappily, then called up another person. That other person explained to me that my order wasn't picked and asked me to show him my confirmation email. I did just that and he complained at me that this email doesn't contain a list of items I bought. Luckily I had emailed a list to myself earlier and I showed him that list. He then left to research the status, then came back and said that the department responsible didn't pick the order. He then left for another 5 minutes while I stood at cash register near Thomas. He came back with my order and I left the store at about 8:27pm. Neither of the cashiers was pleasant with me. Neither one said that they were sorry about my order not picked up. Fry's probably needs to pay more to their cashiers and do a better job in both hiring people with good customer service skills as well as not overworking the ones they already have. Both cashiers looked tired and didn't relate to my issue with unpicked order.

Vast warehouse with a million different parts. I asked for computer headsets when I walked in the door and the employee working the front pointed out 3 different locations - all of them were wrong. I ended up finding them on my own. Make sure you have a QR scanner on your phone, because shelf pricing doesn't match what they ring up for.
