Geek squad there is terrible. I️ took my laptop in 2 weeks before finals and the guy working the front desk at geek squad told me they would have it fixed within 5-7 days. Seven days later I️ go in and they told me there was something wrong with the processing system (I️ don’t know why it took them a week to figure that out and then didn’t bother to call me) so they had to factory reset it and it would fix all the problems. It being now 1 week to finals I’m upset and pay the $80 for the data backup. Again the same guy at the front desk assures me they will start the data back up tonight and try hard to get the computer fixed and ready to go by tomorrow night. Next day get a call apparently it’s actually something wrong with the hard drive, they have not started the data backup, in fact they don’t know if they can do the data backup. And they have to replace the hard drive. I️ only bought the laptop 6 months ago from Best Buy and I️ ask for the manufacturers warranty. Well Best Buy has no record of me buying the laptop even though I️ have the receipt with my customer I️.D. On it right in front of me. Now they don’t know if they can get the data back up done in time for my finals. I️ don’t understand why it took so long for you to figure out the problem. And front desk guy, don’t make empty promises that your department can’t keep.

Would not allow me to exchange a gift item that I received for another product that was almost 3 times the value. I have been able to do this before with no questions asked. The item was completely sealed and I even told them to open it if they did not believe it was in there. Then a so called manager came out and said they can't help. I guess location makes a big difference into you running into someone that's willing to help you.

I had an appointment yesterday to have my remote start installed at 1:15. I was called and advised the appointment before mine had cancelled and I could come in earlier. I agreed. It was very difficult to find where to enter for installation. They either need a bigger sign or to add this info to the email confirmation.. Either way once I found it, I met Alex... my geek squad person.. When i met Alex, he apologized for difficulty I experienced looking for the entrance. Alex stated he would get me squared away asap. He pulled my car in, had me sign my paperwork and informed me that it would be about 3 hours. I chose to wait in the store. At about 4:15, Alex came to find me and informed me that the remote start I have was a new model and there were kinks that needed to be worked out. Therefore, it was providing difficulty wth the installation. Alex explained in detail and advised me of 3 options available. To either get a refund, install a different remote start but guaranteed to work, or he can attempt to troubleshoot the issues although he had already did that. Alex advised that while it would take about another 2 hours for installation, he was willing to stay although he got off at 5 because he felt I needed this remote start now while it was cold. I appreciated his customer service and his empathy that he provided for the wait time. I chose to wait and he proceeded with the new installation. It took less than 2 hours to complete. Alex kept me updated to advise me of his progress, he walked me through how to work my remote start also providing me wth a refund/ discount... I would definitely look to work with Alex again in the future. Geek Squad got Alex right!

I had ordered he ue boom 2 from here online and I had come to pick it up on Christmas Eve! They were closing but they allowed me to pick it up just in time for Christmas today. They were so friendly and understanding, I totally love Best Buy and the employees they hire. Once again thank you so much!

This Best Buy Store has great front door service. The sales associate led us exactly to what we wanted. We were in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes.
