We paid for a 2 day tour of DC including the night time tour. It is March and 35 degrees. When we show up for the night time tour 15 minutes early there is a long line already. They fill up the first bus, then a second bus. We are the last ones in line, our only choice is to sit up top in the open air, again it is 35 degrees outside. They refuse to run a third bus, which was sitting there, telling us we should have showed up earlier and better luck tomorrow night. We just went next door to the old town trolley and we're able to get on one of the many busses they were running and sit inside a much better bus.

I’m so glad I decided to check out the reviews before buying 12 tickets. At the beginning I figured that “just angry people post reviews” so that was probably not that bad. But then, I read how the manager only replies to the 5 star reviews and completely ignores the complaints, WHAT KIND OF MANAGEMENT IS THAT? Thank you everyone who posted reviews letting the rest know about these scammers. Definitely not getting my business.

Our tickets got wet from the rain and they refused to accept them. Wasted a lot of money and a good bit of time. You can walk faster to places in D.C. They can only scan your phone one time, which makes no sense in this day and age. If you want to leave earlier than 9 or stay at museums until they close you will need another ride anyway. Best thing to do is walk, bike, or cab. D.C. also has a circulator that cost 1 dollar that I did not know about.

On our trip to D.C.We wanted to just rush around and try to see everything since it was our first time and we were only staying for 3 days,so we decided to get big bus tours and regretted it at the end of the trip, first our bus at the marine corps memorial was 45 minutes late, then later we got on a different bus near the Lincoln memorial in the field across the street, there were only 2 seats, there were 4 of us,but one of the seats was under a air conditioner and it was leaking water so we couldn't sit there,so one of the workers told my oldest sister she could just stand, once the bus started moving she fell halfway down the stairs, but luckily landed on her feet then that exact same worker started yelling at my dad and my sister because she wasn't sitting down.We decided to get off the bus, before that there were about 4 more things that happened,we got off the bus and a worker told us she'll get us in the next bus and told us not to worry,my dad said "No we already had a rough experience with this bus company we're not using it for or night tour."This was the most professional worker we've experienced. When we complained on their website they told us we would get a full refund in about a week,we never did

It was nice to see all of the monuments at night as our guide was very informative. It would be nice if the top was covered though as it gets extremely cold and branches hit our heads at times. It was worth the price with the explorer pass but I wouldn’t buy it on the regular rate.
