I rarely shop at Bloomingdale's, but it is one of the few locations that sell Nespresso espresso pods. The boutique shop in Bloomingdale's is nicely done with a variety of espresso pods. Customer service is excellent and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable in choosing the different coffee pods. I can only speak of my experience at Nespresso which was excellent.

Very nice store layout. Sales very often. Try to find a sale associate who wants to work with you.

I came by to try on jeans on a Friday afternoon. The selection was ok but I ultimately decided not to buy from Bloomingdales and give a low score for the following reasons. Note, the price point of the jeans is $150-$200, which I would consider "premium."

1) Tailoring is extra and takes a week. It is complimentary at Barneys, which is a few blocks away.

2) It is understaffed. I can buy jeans online but I prefer going in person so that I can try on various sizes and get the personalized recommendation from a knowledgeable staff person. Bloomingdales Men's Casuals does not provide those services. 

3) Their selection is unoriginal. There are numerous in person and online competitions with more interesting selections. Ultimately the "store within a store" experience Bloomingdales seeks to provide is dated and basic.

Do online research before you go, sales person wont tell you if the item is on sale or has discounts.....

The only place we have visited where you can't find staff in multiple departments including children's and shockingly, Rimowa luggage.  You wonder why no one wants your 700 dollars for a suitcase.  Like a zombie apocalypse happened.  Poor management will hasten its fall to Amazon.
