Endlessly entertaining cavalcade of department store abundance. A complete department store experience including restaurants, fragrances and cosmetics, assorted apparel, furniture, and the last dignified stronghold of  more elegant times in American history in the deluxe and me carpet department. Celebrational Christmas sales and a scintillating view of Union Square.  Lots of lazy people populate the furniture displays as if it's their own living room. Great annual events including a flower festival and other fashion fetes.  Come support a great American Institution.

Disastrous customer service. I would buy stuff online just to not have any dealings with these vile people. Dinosaurs walking.

I found the exact short I was seeking. And they were on sale. The men's store is a very easy to shop in.

Good selection, frequent and worthwhile sales.  

I like to hit the sales hard a few times a year.  I arrive early via BART, shop fast, then walk a short distance to drop my bags off in the basement at the Macy's woman's store on union square, for safekeeping.  

The service desk has many tourist brochures and helpful staff to give advice, including what time to return for your goodies.  From there, I launch into a day of sightseeing in the city by the bay.

Biggest Macy store I have seen, central location near to Union square, cheese cake on top floor is good option to try apart from doing shopping across it's 7 floors
