6 months ago I was fitted for shoes because of knee pain. After the employee watched me walk and videoed me running, he recommended shoes and inserts. After breaking in the shoes for a few weeks, my knee pain was gone but I still had pronation problems. I saw a podiatrist (doctor) and he examined my shoes and told me they were an excellent recommendation for the kind of feet I have. I've been doing strength exercises which help, but it reinforced my choice and the expertise of this company when my doctor concurred with the recommendation.

Have had great luck years ago. Ran into an employee who found a shoe, but had to order it. He just left helping me and started helping another customer. I called a few days later and believe I got the same guy. He gave me wrong information... That they didn't have any shoes from their website. These are the same shoes I had seen at the store the other day. It was obvious he didn't want to help me.

This is where we get all of our athletic shoes for the whole family. They are so helpful and thorough. Not only will they measure your feet and watch you walk, but you can walk/run on a treadmill while recording your feet to analyze your form. When I bought trail running shoes, they had me stand on a sloped box to make sure I'd have plenty of toe room while running downhill. They even suggest testing shoes on a quick walk/run outside the store. They have a decent selection without being too overwhelming. They also have a great selection of socks and other accessories, as well as a decent selection of higher end running apparel. You probably won't find great bargains here, but you will get great fitting shoes and awesome service.

Boulder RC has turned into Jackrabbit and when I walked in I found out they are NOT like BRC at all! The salesperson fit me with shoes that are the exact opposite of what I should wear and I ended up with such a damaged knee I was on crutches for 5 days. I took them back but was told that I was out of the 30-day window for returns. They were worn only ten times (once a week) because I have to break shoes in slowly and only after 60 days did I begin long routes. Clerk said no supervisor is ever in the store and the 800 customer service number for Jackrabbit claimed they would contact a supervisor but no response came from that. Terrible, terrible customer relations. BRC is gone forever, folks!
