Your employees need to work on their phone etiquette. So unprofessional! I called to see if some shoes were in stock just to be safe and she was defensive off the bat. I wasn’t even rude or rushing her. She was upset I didn’t have the lot number, which I got it right away. She was then upset that I told her that I see it’s in stock but was only making sure because the other Payless employee suggested I call. It was a simple explanation. No demeaning tone. Then she tells me “Well you need to give me time to actually look it up so I can see if we have it.” Okay? Was I rushing you? No? I was just stating a fact. Then she put me on hold for a really long time and came back and again I asked another simple question which was about getting a discount since I have to travel. Look, I have no issue paying full price, they’re $24 for goodness sake but if I’m promised $2 off why wouldn’t I use that lol ? and she says again in a condescending voice that the store needs to call etc. Dude you work at a shoe store, and I’m a paying customer and the reason you get paid $9/hr. Calm down. Definitely not coming to this store. Called the Payless on N Academy and they were a lot nicer.

Get kids shoes here - decent looking, but cheap since they'll out grow them next week.

J.R was very helpful and friendly. there were quite a few people in there, and he still made time to make sure everyone found what they needed
