AMAZING!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Really helpful and useful, they have pointe shoes, regular practice shoes, leotards, skirts, outfits for mostly ballet but also contemporary and some other genres!!

Ginger (Store owner) has over 35 years of experience fitting point shoes, ballet flats, tap, ballroom, and jazz shoes professionally. She has in-depth knowledge of almost every dance studio in Colorado Springs and the areas around. She keeps records of most of their preferred dress codes. The store is stocked with dance attire, leotards, leggings, tights, skirts, bags, and shoes of all shapes and sizes for all occasions. 

If you are a dancer, and you need anything from basic to specific, this is the place to go. If you need to be fitted for ballet point shoes, it is by appointment only. Call ahead to set up a time and date.

I am an adult dancer (21) just starting on pointe after having taken around 5 years of classes when I was young from Ballet Society. I came in to look at pointe shoes and Ginger was so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind, which as a nontraditional pointe student was so refreshing! Ginger spent around 2 hours with me, making sure that the fit of my new pointe shoes was comfortable and perfect, and did not pressure me to buy anything which I have experienced at other stores. The fitting was completely free since I ended up buying the shoes and she gave me so many tips, sewed on my ribbons perfectly (the elastic is completely hidden by the ribbon!) and even showed me how to tie them correctly. Ginger genuinely cares about the well-being and health of dancers and their feet on pointe. There are many popular brands, which you will NOT find at Ballet Society's Boutique, with only two options: plastic pointes and shoes from China... (and you won't find good service there either). Needless to say, coming here for my first fitting was absolutely perfect after waiting to get on pointe for so many years, and I will be a loyal customer for years to come. If you are looking for a wide range of brands, sizes, good prices (can I hear it for 10% college discount), a comfortable environment and a perfect, professional fitting, come to Ginger at Assemble!
