The manager (Starr) is very helpful and courteous. They maintain clean, quality cars at  this Sacramento Fulton Avenue location. Prices are reasonable. A step above most rental car stores

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I made the reservation over the phone and showed up at my specified time. After waiting half an hour the guy calls me to the counter and I give him my DL and card. He enters in my information and then tells me "we ran a credit check and you don't pass so we're unable to rent to you." I never agreed to a credit check and had no clue they were doing this. Why make me a reservation and waste my time if you're ultimately going to deny me? It should also be noted that there were other people in the office at the same time having the same issue with this location. Unfortunately for them, their card had already been charged for the rental and they were attempting without success to get a refund. This is the worst rental place I've ever come across in my life. I will be going back to Enterprise after this. More expensive, but worth it.

They were willing to help, but not very straightforward when it came to what service you are paying for. Know how rentals work before signing anything.

Though listed on Budget's website as an after-hours drop off location, they don't allow it!
