Absolutely worst customer service in history. I messed up my reservation. So I'll own that. Basically I set it at 10:30am instead of PM. But I realized it, and fixed it at around 9:00 am. The person on the phone assured me that it was fixed, and that there would be no problem. Arrived at 10:30pm in Saint George. I was told that the person that I had talked to had basically not done anything. And the person at the desk wouldn't do anything but shrug. I will absolutely, positively be using Enterprise in the future. I come to Saint George a few times per year. Save yourself the hassle and just go with Enterprise. They actually have customer service.

Please avoid Budget! I reserved a SUV to take my son for medical care. When my husband rented from this budget  location last year, they gave him a totally different car then he reserved(he reserved full size automatic and got a manual compact) so I went to the airport to make sure they had a SUV for the next day and confirmed 3 times the SUV would be ready. I got there the budget rep. said our choices were a Wrangler or a pick up truck! She said they were the same class? I reserved a SUV with 7 seatbelts, the pickup had 3 seatbelts and the Wrangler 4 so how could these be the same class? I told her I had confirmed 3 times within the last 24 hours a SUV would be ready and I was going to the Mayo clinic with my son. She thought the Mayo clinic was a rehab(like drug) clinic. I don't expect everyone to know the Mayo clinic is a world famous hospital for very sick people or rare conditions, I was shocked at her words and so were the couples behind us and in the other lines. All she repeated was pickup truck or wrangler , even though the SUV I was promised was sitting out there with 3 other SUV's. The customers around me were shocked and the Enterprise rep came over and said she would help us get a rental, in fact the customers waiting at enterprise all just let us go ahead of them. Enterprise got us what we needed in less then 10 minutes and the rep was so kind, she knew how ill my child was and what the Mayo clinic was. The Enterprise and Alamo reps apoligized for Budget but the Budget rep just glared at us. Budget  was bad a year ago and worse today, I doubt they will change. I was just happy that so many customers saw how we were treated.

I have rented many times from Budget no problems until recently.
 One occassion I wanted to extend I contacted the Budget got transfered to the main number  in SLC and NOBODY could find my contract #. Well they didn't enter it into the system...So I hauled butt...
Last 3 times I reserved a vehicle and was turned away because they didn't have any vehicles available... mind you I RESERVED...the least they could of done was call me and tell me they didn't have any vehicles to offer me vs me driving 30 minutes to get there and leave empty handed.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. Not only do the employees seem to have a difficult time reconciling reservations made online and confirmed by the phone but they don't seem to have a problem making customers wait for no reason.

Absolutely terrible customer service. You'd think that this place would realize that they actually do have competition in this town and they'd want to treat their customers better.

Oh, and good luck if you happen to show up when a Brittany is working. As an impossibly frustrating human being with no skills in the art of communicating reasonably she is quite possibly one of the most impressive workplace statistics. You know, being someone who is terrible at her job is still...at her job, that must take some sort of skill.

The day before, when we called about the rental our dear friend Brittany says,"no cars, no way, no how." Then we call their 24 Hour number and get it all worked out after enough frustrating conversational ring-around-the-roses to the point of tears and the CSR says to just ask for Brittany when we show up the next morning. 

So, in the morning we go there and she is on a personal phone call, blatantly ignoring us for over half an hour, didn't acknowledge us even to say 'sorry I'll be with you in a moment' or anything, and then when she finally gets off the phone she lets out this annoyed huff, refuses to make eye contact and asks "what can do for you?"

Made the reservation a month ago for a pick up and when I landed Thursday afternoon no one from budget was in sight and the weren't even open to honor it. They really screwed me over on this one. Lost my business.
